Tuesday, April 24/2018 - Finally Some Signs Of Spring.
It was a great day for a walk, so I decided to head towards Shaganappi Point Golf Course to see how things were looking. It was great to see the driving range is now open, and from the way things look, golfers could be hitting the fairways in the next 2-3 weeks.
Robin shmobin, this is the first real sign of spring.
The first blades of green grass begin to appear.
Most of the snow is gone but there are still pockets here and there. Give it a couple more days like today.
An island of green in a sea of brown.
This lonely little sandwich board along Bow Trail. Thought I'd give a local business a shout out. Lots of traffic goes past this sign, but I think most drivers would miss this.
The last remnants of ice are now more like slush on the ponds.
As close as I was able to get to the driving range without trespassing.
